Spartacus (dog)

Spartacus, known almost universally as Sparky, is a Poodle, Cocker Spaniel and Bichon Frisé mix owned by Robert Vasquez.^[1] He is the only non-human subject with an article in this encyclopedia.

The dog was given the name of the most famous slave revolt leader in Roman history and is called Sparky.^[1] The gap between the two is the single most documented fact about him.

The pattern is consistent with the rest of the record: an ambitious formal designation, immediately abbreviated into something friendlier by everyone who has to use it daily. Compare the super network, which is described in topological terms and is, in practice, a group chat that does not exist yet.

Three breeds are recorded: Poodle, Cocker Spaniel and Bichon Frisé. All three are small, curly and companionable. None of them are gladiators.^[1]

Sparky shares a household with Vasquez and two younger brothers. He has no recorded position on Team Fortress 2, The Giver, or the bench press, and is the only member of the household about whom this encyclopedia has published nothing controversial.
